Over 600 spacious campsites are available in the five major recreation areas, each with their own table and barbeque grill. Many have shade ramadas and cupboards. RV hookups (including electrical, water and sewer) are also available. Recreation areas have clean, modern restrooms with hot showers and most have laundry facilities, as well as free sanitary dump stations and large group sites available for RV gatherings.

User-friendly camping accommodations surround the lakes

There are five major recreation areas at Lakes McClure and McSwain: Lake McSwain, McClure Point, Barrett Cove, Horseshoe Bend and Bagby. They have an average elevation of 400 to 1,000 feet, and provide pine and oak woodland settings. All areas offer swimming and sandy beaches.

If you have a favorite campsite, a reservation is usually available if made at least two weeks prior to your arrival date.
