The following Park Facilities are CLOSED 

  • Bagby Ramp – CLOSED 
  • Barrett North Ramp – CLOSED
  • Horseshoe Bend Swim Lagoon – CLOSED
  • Barrett Cove Marina – CLOSED (COMING BACK THIS SUMMER)

Campfires: Wood burning fires are currently NOT permitted. Propane and charcoal fires ONLY during wildfire season.

Lake McClure Biking Trails

Exchequer Bike Park and Trails

Juxtaposing the natural beauty of the surrounding nature of our lakes and all the thrills of an exciting bike course, Exchequer Bike Park can be easily accessed from the  Barrett Cove Recreation Area. Located along the northwestern shore of Lake McClure, bask in the amazing scenery on our bike trail and experience a ride like no other. Complete with Barrett Cove’s hosted amenities including overnight tent camping, park cabins, and convenience stores, Exchequer offers everything for your next biking adventure.

Exchequer Bike Park is open from dawn to dusk. Admission is included with an $8 per day/per vehicle entrance fee paid when entering Barrett Cove Recreation Area.

Mandatory Waiver Needed

All mountain bike riders at Exchequer Mountain Bike Park are required to complete and sign/date this wavier before riding in the Mountain Bike Park. Please print, sign, date and drop the form into the Barrett Cove Recreation Area Entrance Station Iron Ranger. You are also welcome to email us a PDF of the signed/dated waiver at info@lakemcclure.com. Please keep a hard copy or photo of your waiver with you at all times while riding in the park. Waivers are valid on the date signed and need to be completed daily anytime that you ride in the Exchequer Mountain Bike Park. You are responsible for submitting a new waiver as needed.
